Uma mensagem do filho de Szpilman

Em 2010, consegui entrar em contato com o filho de Szpilman (O pianista), Andreas, que hoje é músico e produtor musical. Pedi que escrevesse para os alunos contando um pouco sobre seu pai, e deixando uma mensagem. Ele respondeu bem curtinho (muito atarefado),mas deixando um recado importante: 


About my father: We did not talk about War until 1998. I'm proud of him because my father supported underground - bringing weapons into the getto was very dangerous. All of his family was murdered.

He met my mother in 1949 in the mountains of Poland, in the city Krynica. 

The most importante lesson I learned with him was Justice. I have a message to you: read the book, learn, because democracy is never strong enough.
